yeah, well the black bits are black and the grey bits are montana grey - with the door closed the shed is pretty dingy and the yellow of the lights doesn't help...probably a good day for the hardware shop...I'll see what I can do

Under the white fluro that looks like the same as what mine were from factory, ute and van.

Are the shocks heavy duty gas Monroe Wiley?

Yeah, those two wheels came from a fella in Sydney who happened to be coming this way...they cleaned up well.

Today, I put some air in the tyre of a wheel that I had previously painted and had sitting outside. It started bubbling water around the valve and bead...hmmm...got the tyre taken off - it's wet in there and has been rusting. I tidied it up but not sure it'll be used, if I come up with enough other better ones.

Now, I'll take the wheels off the ute one at a time and decide (at least I know they hold air - though two have tubes). I put my other painted wheel (the HR one) on the ute, so I could paint up another EK one.

I started stripping another wheel but then the weather turned nasty (and my workspace isn't hail-proof)

drilled some extra holes and sprayed fish oil everywhere that's been welded (front, driver's side, rear) - another job that you don't see - unless you look on the concrete (and my clothes)
