Hi Simba
Welcome to the forum mate, as others have said it looks like you have the bopnes of a good project there and handy to have had the running gear already sorted for you.

My advise mate is get it to a blaster after you have finished with the stripdown so you can see where all your dramas are and your have some clean metal to work with then get it on a rotis, write down a plan of attack and then just start at one end and work your way to the other.

Weld and grind mate weld and grind

Love the long roofs - welcome and good luck - lots to do there but as Neil says it is well worth the investment to get it blasted and epoxied - start clean then you have the time to do it step by step without worrying about surface rust reappearing over and over again.
Following with interest.

Hi Simba, good onya' for saving another one. Lots of work ahead of you, but as long you enjoy it, then it's all good. Looking forward to lots of photos and chat on how you go about it.

Good luck and cheers,

Thanks again everyone for the warm welcome!
i just picked up four doors last night practically free of rust so that has saved me a lot of time and effort given how bad a state my doors were in. Goal is to get the floors done this weekend I think.

Some updates. First bit of rust repair. A bit rough but no ones gunna see it I suppose. There was a fair bit of bog under there from a previous repair that I had to grind out and weld over. Next one should be a bit neater, It's all a learning curve.

Dash is all stripped. Good news is the original wiring loom is basically unmolested

Warmaride heater is in good condition

I'm planning on laying down dynamat on the floors, do people replace the factory firewall insulation with it or is it a good idea to keep it too?

Nice Fresh-Air Warmaride (part number 7414672). Replace the firewall insulation with Dynamat, unless you want a "factory" type look.

That cowl vent plenum drain, oh dear. The front floor looks reasonably good and original though. Interesting that the hydramatic body type isn’t noted on the body tag. I thought they threw an A in the code somewhere, depending on the factory. One for Sunny Tim?

Looks like stock Hydramatic floor with a patch possibly from side mount floor shift.

The PO code in the insert line on the tag denotes Auto body Clay ...
I started with nothing and still have most of it left.
