Re: LS1EK
Zip ties yeah naaa. I have to cut into the inner guards slightly so will fab up a new support panels that will not rely on the cross brace to hold it all together. Similar to the photo.

First crack at mocking up the drivers side extractors. Looks as if extractors will be one piece as i can remove the steering shaft when installing or removing them. Still a long way to go yet as i have not positioned the collector etc. Will also need some hi-temp glue

Hey Taz love your work mate, doesn't look like you have anyclearance between the pipe and chassis rail will that be a problem with engineer??
And I think you had better heat wrap those pipes mate along with your hi temp glue or you could be in trouble

Re: LS1EK
I have 10mm clearance at the moment, i need to use racing tape instead of masking tape so that the pipes stay in the right spot then inwill get more clearance . Still researching lengths of the primaries as i think the rear pipe will need to come out and go past the steering shaft so as to get the same length pipe as the others. Am aiming for about 850mm long overall but am confused as when you look at off the shelf extractors they do not appear to be the same length. Maybe in a 4-1 set up having the primaries all the same length is not as critical???FireKraka wrote:Hey Taz love your work mate, doesn't look like you have anyclearance between the pipe and chassis rail will that be a problem with engineer??
