For information, here are the numbers for my FB

Chassis: FB17150M
Engine: B56006

I can't quite understand the plate and I don't have the car with me ATM to confirm the body (I'll be back) but from the pic it reads FB 225 7344 M .

Hi Paul, your FB Sedan is a very early Nitro (Duco) finish. If original paint it would be extremely rare to find.

Paint -Corana Grey / Arctic Beige

It's all original with negligible rust! {except for HD seat belt clasps, a new 2 core ratiator, and plastiv master cylinder reservior}.

Would there be any way to discern the manufacture date?

That's the highest Engine number and Ute body number I have found so far!

The tag looks like this, but not necessarily in this position.

Hi Hoof, does it have anything else written? ... Like "Special" ?

Nothing else written to tag, this was fastened to the inner guard (drivers side). What would the factory colors on offer in 59 be. This ute started as a dealership vehicle locally.

Update to the supplied info:
Sub frame number: EK5014M


Is there a link to the spreadsheet?

I am wondering about the original engine number of my ute. VicRoads can offer me NO info on the car, even with the rego number, chassis and body numbers.

Rego lable has the following number: B84096

But from what I see on this forum, that number belongs to an FB, not an EK.

I do know that the ute had an engine transplant at one point, but it would seem odd that a farmer would notify of the change -- well, my relatives anyways.
