We are putting a HR disc brake front end into my FB and I was wondering what will be the impact on the ride height. It is currently on lowered springs about 2 inches. To keep the height it is now will I need to put lowered springs in it or will the HR front drop the height? Can I use the ...

Hi Guys,
I have to change the diff as the 3.36 has called it quits. To get the car back on the road i have a 2.78 to put in.
Can anyone tell me the good and bad about using this ratio? I am running a 138 RED motor(stock) with HR 3 speed gearbox. Wheels are 15 inch.

Here is the ID plate to my twilight turquoise FB. Can you give me any info on the build date of this car.
The number on the guard is FB37677S. This car has been in the family since 1963.

Obviously these are not self levelling but the Narva lenses are ADR approved to run this type of light system. The headlights have been adjusted identical to the previous lights.

Hi Guys
Just put a HID headlight system in the FB. I have used a pair of Narva free form headlights and found the HID kit from Ebay.
The light intensity is 6000K which puts out a really white light.I did have Hella lights with 90/100W globes and relays which were pretty good but these things are a ...

Thanks for the reply guys,
I am sure the smiths tacho is for 4 cylinders and doesnt seem to have any switching to 6 cylinder.Checked today with my meters which do rpm and found at 80kays the car is doing 2500rpm,100 is 3100,110 is 3450. These are far more realistic
figures and close to what Brodies ...

Im not sure about the color of the speedo gear,but it is a 138 RED motor and the tacho is a smiths.

Hi guys
I am currently doing a bit of freeway driving daily and am finding the standard diff ratio making the car work too hard.The motor is a standard 138 red with a HR three speed.Is a 3.55 or a 3.36 the best options? will a 3.08 be too tall?
