Well I had a very good and at the same time frustrating weekend.
I had all intentions of putting Frank up on car stands so that I could get underneath and see if I could hear the fuel pump running and at worse case scenario having to pull the pump.
I jacked the back up and put it on the stands and thought I would just give it a try before I went any deeper and bugger me dead Frank started

and Idled (sort of)

so I turned him off, put the back down on the ground and Frank has started every time since I had to adjust the idle up a bit so he would keep idling I put this down to the cam and the standard Delco ecu.
So then I though I had better take him out on the street (benefit of living semi rural) to see if it was going to behave or shutdown like it had been and I was very surprised and happy that I was able to go down the road (3 Ks) without any great deal of problems, it did stall a couple of times when I was stopping to turn the corner etc. but as I've said I think this is more of a tuning problem than anything.
I got back and found that the engine had over heated and though shit what now only to find after it had cooled down that it had had an air lock and that this was the first time I had been able to run it long enough to get it up to temperature to get the thermostat to open.
As I said it is frustrating because I don't know why it wouldn't start for all the times I tried but I am happy that it is running pretty well at the moment and dean did a great job on the exhaust and it sounds pretty good even if it is a V6
So the auto electrician is coming Wednesday to sort out the neutral safety and the reverse lights and I will start to think of engineer approval, wheel alignment, dyno and having it weighed
