Have we stumbled across the very first Walkinshaw ??????? :lol:

Steve - does the van still have a motor in it which would require a bit of extra clearance where this "turtle" scoop is ? Perhaps the PO needed some room and he had this thing lying around, is there a hole in the bonnet under it ?
I started with nothing and still have most of it left.

Although the bonnet does look like it came off a Sedan and not a Van, It still looks like a cheap way to get air down the throat!!!

but how much air ??? the hole in the fronts a bit small - those vents are designed to extract air by creating a low pressure zone directly underneath them and drawing air through the hole in the back - it would probably hurt performance rather than enhance - no wonder those early walkys never did any good at Bathurst :lol: :lol: :lol:

This bonnet with scoop was on a ute I think. This van at the moment has a 149 with x2 set up .

Is there a hole underneath it ? If you moulded it into the bonnet instead of the self tappers it would look kinda cool and fairly period correct.
Maybe block off the rear hole ?

I saw two on top of a Mitsubishi van the other day, I would throw it away :wink: , Trev 8) .
