Bonnet scoop

Post by vhcruiser »

Hi, I have a Turtle shell looking scoop on an EK bonnet. Is this a NASCO accessory or just a after market job for these FB/EK's or another model ?. I'd put a picture on but my skills won't let me. Cheers Steve

well there ya go - so it does ! Isnt technology wonderful ?

Still looks like a roof vent off a bullwagon though... although the colour of it COULD indicate its off an FC PMG van

Man, I reckon that's an early COLD AIR INDUCTION system. Might have been linked straight on top of the Strommie for max oxygen combustion?

Have we stumbled across the very first Walkinshaw ???????

Steve - does the van still have a motor in it which would require a bit of extra clearance where this "turtle" scoop is ? Perhaps the PO needed some room and he had this thing lying around, is there a hole in the bonnet under it ?
