How 'bout this for your grill MJ??
just two chrome tubes top 'n' bottom..It's simple, cheap and finishes off the extra 'hole' nicely.

Yeah,I wont make it to the nats,Im just ploding away at it
still have another skin to go on ,rust work in the lh doors
push button handles to make along wiyh some home made
spats/skirts,also wouldnt mind a third brake light and an
aerial somewhere,Yeah Scott the tubes look kinda neat,
am having trouble getting hubcaps to fit, might just run spidercaps with trims also want whitewall tyres but will settle for those portowalls.
I was also thinking about running the stock side trim but
about 80 mm higher might look stupid though

Got some stainless today for the handles, looks so good mirror finish
that I may get 3 metres and make a new grill $100
(will keep the old one to confuse the locals)
bent in the middle to match the bonnet and each one stepped
back from the top one if you get my drift.
Started on the door handles today,I was wanting to use the original
button but it might stick out to far,it will unless i modify the latch,
but its not the look im after ,I want the buttons to dissapear
,do you like the way I make my hole, learnt that back in NZ
putting speackers In the back of a Valiant
really hard when you have to drill upside down with nice hot shavings
dropping on your face

Grill sounds good.

The original button does look too small, as-well as sticking out too far. You should be able to get some tubing that would slide neatly inside the housing that you made and make your own flush fitting buttons, Trev 8) .

Years ago i did a full "How To" article on flush fitting buttons, that was published in one of the Graffiti magazines.
Street Machine did a similar piece.

These were done for the guys who thought my kits were to expensive and could make up the bits themselves.
Its always easier to do something, if someone who has done a similar thing many times shows you what is involved
Many have used this information and made their own, and others bought my kits after having a go.
