Wow, some great work there mate! Interesting seeing the grey motor mounted on a frame like that. I picked one up a few years ago similar to that which was used on a farm in the wheatbelt. It had a customised cowling attached to the flywheel which ran a drive belt for some kind of band saw! 101 uses for the grey!
Keep up the good work ...
Yeah a little rust in both lower front guards and top ,all doors have some pinholes and the floors had surface rust as the previous owner "was" gonna do it up ,but just took the screens out for 2 years so the carpet would get saturated.I got the motor off sunnyTim it powered a boat building slipway.I was getting the paint off with paint stripper and steel wool(as seen on the dash) However have since found a cheap and nice blaster ,ie;4 doors ,bonnet, hinges and a guard and odds n ends for $ 300 which I thought was good. The general plan is to make a custom out of it as to how far it goes I dont know yet ,I want the fins a bit longer ,dual head lights although they might look terrible, different grille maybe,, oh hang-on just had a thought how about woks for hubcaps.Chrome wheels are to pricey Im a mega budget dude a chrome rim costs $700 Thanks for the interest
From what I can make out Ming Lung Tun just told me that shes got 3 labradors ,a mongrel and a siamese coming this week,, so it looks like the woks will take a bit off time
