J I love that moulded metal look and I do have to make a parcel shelf and modify the seat shape so youve sold me on that one ...Ill have to suss it out .

ED I know where there is one that might have your name on it for the right dollars

And yes lots n lots of thought but no matter how much thought I keep coming back to the paint job , A mate was here an hour ago and suggested full candy red with the chromies white walls and chamois colour on the olds trim , It sounds delicious

I also have a soft spot for the silvery blues and the metalic trim thats on 60s cars .
The gold over white I had planned for the 54 but can realy see it on the EK , My sweet other half hates orange or a shade of gold so close to orange hehe.

Its very Bold !

I love fade jobs but I think Id lean more towards Foose style fade that emphasises natural body lines ,Like this over the guards

It must flow with the car for the best effect.

that first early custom looks like it was sprayed by a painter with a bad back

he couldn't reach the middle of the car, or bend down low to spray the dark colour

a nice set of orginal colours like sky blue white roof if you wanted to go a factory look

or heavy flake base with candy blue over the top and pearl white roof, darker blue flake wheels chrome nuts and domes white walls, cream metalic interior

Id have a doo like Beaker in Jasons photo at this stage ...

I like the colours on the Camaro Jason but Id stick with full gold roof lighter grey lower body and darker mid section (if it worked)

Fade is definitely looking good somewhere on it..

Tough decision, what colour as it can make or break a car...

Maybe a factory shade with heavy flake scalloping all over ala Watson?

Light Blue/dark blue with similar tone trim? Or stick with the original plan gold/white...
