Since I got the bracing out Ive been bustin my guts to drop in the trim and see whay happens .
The brown trim is from a 46 &*#@ ,swap meet special , Its a split folding bench and matching rear seat.

The second is the goods , all Oldsmobile coupe trim .

Love the chrome trimmings on the buckets , love the sunken speaker in the rear , love the door trim style trimming and strips .
The rear armrests are wicked aswell as the console (if it fits)

Im thinking exact same trim but renewed in an off white/tan/caramel leather

On first impression, I prefer the look of the &*#@ seats. Drop them down like RB suggests and I think they'd look right at home. I think what I like is that they seem to be more 'substantial' than the Olds.
But after having a really good second look, the Olds buckets are really starting to grow on me. There's more contour there than the &*#@, and the chrome trim could really set them off with the right colour combo inside the car.
Geez...either would look cool. I almost don't envy you having to make a decision and stick with it...lol

Hey Harko,
Amazing stuff mate, Been following this with interest. I reckon you've nailed the proportions.. perfect when nobody first realises it's chopped because it looks so right.
Great metal work, you're inspiring me to get going on my next project.
JB you sprung me lurking!
Cheers

Probably FE-FC sedan, but will involve lots of cutting.
I want to go one step further than I did with the wagon.
Working on an FE sedan (not mine) atm so I've been doing alot of thinking and eyeballing of ideas I had but never made happen.
Again... I'm really impressed with your translation from ideas to metal, it shows alot of thought.
Cheers
