Hi can someone tell me the bolt size and thread for the removal and replacement of the near side park light fitting?

I suspect your right 3/16”

BSW threads weren't used on Holden's. It is more likely 3/16" UNC.

Guilty as charged, of using Whitworth threaded bolts on occasion on my Holdens.

The three that hold FB parking lamps in are #10-24UNC. The FC/FB/EK lens screws are #8-32UNC.

Rob’s back. Me and every OTHER farmer you mean. That’s where my welding technique comes from as well. Point, close eyes, weld, repeat. Occasionally confusing steps two and three….

That 5 degrees can sometimes be a real pain. The Whitworth bolt is 5 degrees "fatter" in the teeth which makes it quite tight when threading into the hole. Quite often I've just run a Whitworth tap thru the hole if I'm desperate.
