Hey Rowan, you should move to s.a we have no rules !!!
your first car could be a 1200hp monster and it would be legal. Also we have no yearly checks here so it's makes it alot easier to modify. Good luck with the project and keep us posted.
You won't be late with a 138!

Good to see you back Rowan.I know what you mean with the time and money thing.
I find I get very intense and whip into lots of things on my car/s and then I lose interest ( and money ) and leave it for a while and then the cycle continues again.
Currently working on an FB for Yamba so will have to get the finger out to get it on road by then......... it certainly won't be a show car thats for sure.
Cheers,
Terry.
I can't think what to write here so this will do.

WOO!
I'm deciding to step up the work on the old girl!
So which one of you fine gentlemen or ladies can tell me how can i de-attatch my FB's body from the chassis.
Is it just bolts?
Also can someone tell me the best way to make an engine stand rotissirie.
CHEERS
Laters!

Where the bloody 'ell have you been Row1??
Long time,no see!!
Ah,
The old Holdens don't have a chassis as such but I guess you either mean subframe detachment or front crossmember detachment??
Terry.

Yeah mate, I want to take the bit you sit in, off of the bit with the wheels
lol
I just want the shell, on a rotissirie(how ever you spell that) So we can roll the body over and do a proper job on it.
So how easy is it to dismantle the car so I'm able to do this where I just have the shell alone?
What do i need to do?
Cheers

Basically Row. Motor and box out. stands under the car near front. front cross member out. front guards off. and you'll find all the bolts to take ya front sub frame off bro. up top each side on your firewall. then follow the bottom ones under the car. you'll see. easy bro.
