KBS in the inside spots yesterday. Spent today day stripping paint off the back cabin wall and inside tray bits. A good reason in itself to get them sandblasted. That back wall is a real #$%^&* to strip. Hope to get primer on the whole car tomorrow.ImageImageImage

Yep that back wall is painful as is under the floor. That KBS is good stuff 👍

Yes I remember. I wasn’t too fussy about it. Just wire wheeled off the loose stuff, metal preped and etch primed.

First coat of primer covering everything that is not going to be KBS.
Wheel arches in the tray are a bit tragic, but not getting any thing but paint this time arround. Have banged out the biggest dents.ImageImageImageImageImage

Looks good in one colour don’t it?

I sprayed my wheel tubs and tonneau floor with stone guard. Textured finish hides a lot of bumps. Acrylic topcoat went straight over the top.

Yes Clay, I'm tossing up about what coating to use on the metal parts of the tray floor. U Pol make a 2pk textured finish (Raptor) for ute trays so might go that way. Holden must have used some tar like stuff under the paint layer.

With a bit of luck we will get them both to Nationals Drew😀

Finished body painting for a while. Not too bad for first coat. Metallic paint is totally different to plain, colour takes many layers to develop and clear top coats change it completely. Next job is to get front back on and doors painted and on.
