thanks Clay,

I can't get a great shot from other angles because I'm up against fences and the garage ... but for those who like it, here's a glimpse of the rear

Thanks Neil ... yeah, I've had more time at home than I first thought. I put 3 months into it before winter and 3 months after winter ... mainly the welding and panel work. We'll have to see what happens when the spanners come out. I'd say I've still got a fair bit to go. Patrick

been taking it easy for a couple of days while we've been having a bit of rain

found a spot for a couple of additional gauges I had in the shed ... screwed in a new temperature sender and used the existing wire to go to a temperature gauge ... ran an ignition wire to a voltmeter ... spliced into the instrument cluster lights - the LEDs in these gauges are a bit brighter than those in the speedo etc. so I put new globes in the instrument cluster and cleaned the sockets so they are a bit better now - I'll have a look when it's dark out and see if I need to do more

Got to love those gauges from kneegasher inc.

I have a set but I'm thinking about the external ones, just thinking !!!

Great work regardless.

at least the gauges aren't rock solid like the handbrake - I don't like solid items under the dash after a passenger put her knee through a stereo when someone pranged into my first car ... at least the stereo had some give

When I bought the ute, the old beige seatbelts were one of the okay things that I intended to keep
