Ute tub rubbers.

Post by oz_ek »

Anyone know if there's a replacement rubber available for the area indicated by the arrows?

Thanks, Phil.

Gday phil
You sparked my curiosity with this so I tried to cut out a section of the rubber extrusion used to fill the gap between inner floor and rear quarter skin from rear of wheel well right around to tailgate jamb by the looks.
Hopefully the photos show the shape. I had to cut through the two tails that were sandwiched between the panels. I reckon it would be possible to source something generic to do the job. Failing that a liberal application of butyl mastic should do the job. Won’t be seen once the covers are on. ImageImage

Onya Clay,
Another myth busted! I wonder whether that rubber section is included when you buy a rubber kit?
