Rocker Cover Nut Size

Hey

Trying to work out what size nut I need for the two rocker cover hold down bolts if anyone knows or is able to check.

Alec, Harv has sent you the goods...but..

Whatever you do - if you have the original tin rocker cover - don't overtighten those nuts! - it will buckle the cover and you'll never get it to seal....

Just a "nip" down and another check in a week or so when a new gasket beds in.

Many fit alloy rocker covers - not because they actually do anything for the motor.. but because you can screw those nuts down and get a reasonable seal around the rocker cover gasket.

Thanks for the information and warning. Going onto a speco finned cover and found some wingnuts that should look pretty swish on it. Thanks again for your help.
