Post by mr bean »

Hi All
Went to wreckers today and brought a washer bottle motor to suite the EJ bottle, got home fitted and wired it up, filled the bottle with water and turned the igntion on and hit the switch.I sat there waiting for the water to hit the screen and nothing, :ughh: as I looked at the bonnet nozzles the water was running down the bonnet. Dammit somebody has removed the screw in thingies. :frownn:

Quwestion - Does anyone have a pair for sale or know where I can by some, ( only thing stopping me for rego)

Andy,

Do you have the original EJ type jets, like on page 43 of the Guide?

Is the whole lot missing, or has someone just picked out the jet balls?

Some options:
a) Go to SuperCheap and look at some of their washer bottles - the one I bought for the EK had a plastic EJ style jet with it. Dodgy, but might get you out of trouble.
b) Use a grease nipple and nut, after picking the check ball out of the nipple.
c) Screw a Rover P6 nozzle in place of the original one (see p20 of the Guide)... will only cover one side of the screen though.

Cheers,
