engine mount position for red motor

hi , can anyone tell me the position (on HR crossmember) , for relocated engine mounts to be rewelded in place for EK with a Trimatic auto fitted with red motor. .. also pics would help me a lot . thanks, Art.

Art , it tends to vary a bit , theres no hard and fast rules about where they go , the best bet is to cut the mounts off the xmember , fit them to your engine mounts , stick the motor and box (and radiator , carbs also if you are running triples or something which may cause clearance issues ) in the car and position it where it fits best , tack the mounts in then remove motor and box and fully weld the mounts.
I started with nothing and still have most of it left.

What Blacky said, I found is the only way to get it right. I did similar with an FC years ago. But you can drop the front end back out and leave the motor and box in the car if you've got it sitting securely.
