Guys,

Whats the smallest A/C compressor anyone knows off... preferable to be able to be purhcased new.

happy to make up what ever bracket i need to, i do have a red motor bracket arlready... its just about getting one in low down in the bay now with as minimum of cutting as possible

Cruise the wreckers, we've had Hyundai's, Hondas etc their AC compressors are compact, and are really efficent.
Measure the condensors while you are there :wink:

bat53... don't suppose you could tell me the rough overall sizing on it?

also keeps cooling up fine etc...

Mate here is a grey set up with air con & power steering, air con compressor is under the alternator, maybe you could mount the compressor where the power steering is on this one. :thumbsup: :thumbsup:
