Went over to have a look at the car the other day, The rain has slowed progress but it is looking great

The fuel tank was sent away and cleaned out and pressure tested, luckily as the previous owner had bodged it up and the modifications to the tank came apart when the tank was dipped :esurprised:

The fuel sender for the new gauges has been installed by welding a plate inside the tank and tapping the threads.

The whole car has been wiped over with Prepsol and the paintwork is gleaming, pictures don't really do it any justice :ewink:

Color scheme is sweet.
Theres one here in gippsland, doesn't get it out very often, but real 8) lookin car!!

Looking good. Just one question though how can rain slow progress? Its a big garage its in?

It's slowing the painting of the parts before being fitted.

Hey scoob what steering column did ya go for? Checkin a few out myself at the mo.

Looking great, makes the 56 and muzzy look out of place with a kool holden in the shed, are they your cars?

Fuel tank is back from the cleaners, pressure tested and cleaned out :D
