You should post some photos of the set up Steve, I would be pretty interested in how they did it back then. The only other power steer system I have seen pre 60 was where a fella modified a Compact Fairlane pillar ram setup. Worked well for low speed but no good at road speeds.

I'm very much looking forward to seeing this EK Proto Prem, I always thought that when Holden had the first auto in the EK, why not make a smansy prem to go with it.

Second pic shows lining up rack ends with bottom pivot point.
I couldn't see how you can do this just by positioning the rack alone?
Then you mount the rack at the right height and you end up with about 1mm in bump.
