When my car is complete and I go for a drive over the same Ballina Ferry, I'll think of this beauty...great story!
Yes! My Dream begins!

Re: Rebuilding of Old Timer (EK wagon) (Updated 17/3/10)
Many thanks ekute62,
Update time for March to May 2010...it's getting dark earlier with the end of daylight savings but the garage light is usually on...
next area is the petrol tank 'well' which looked as though it has had a fair amount of water sitting in it over the years...
cutting out...
this piece came via ratbox about 3 years ago and has been sitting in the garage ready for the transplant...
Luis tacking it in...
all in and some grinding to be done...
an extra little section to the jigsaw from Greg (EK283)...

next bits...
I wish the welding and grinding was as quick as posting stuff on the forum...
other side...
I love using this reciprocating saw...good for tight spots and neat corners...
and you guessed it more grinding...

Coming along nicely stewart, I bet luis is having a ball, all he has to do is weld the pieces in and they get magically ground down nice and flush , Trev .

I always enjoy seeing updates of Old Timer, Stewart. Very impressed with the way you and Louie are repairing that bodyshell - very precise and clean. Great stuff!
So, are those Tasmans that I KNOW you scored going on?

You're on the money Alex definitely on the downhill run...I don't think Luis can believe it...nor can I for that matter...it's been a hard slog.
