I'll second that Gaz, there are so many sets of mags out there that don't suit the FB/EK and the ones that do are hard to get with the rite off set so you can lower them enough .
So to use the steelies you can put caps on them if you want, Trev .

go look at Hubcaps off american cars in the 50s, 60's and 70,s and buy some 15 inch ones.
Bullets do look good, but after seeing them 500 times at the same show it just looks boring

mmmmmmmm......... consider this J.......Woman all have the same parts just with different shaped bodies, so it is just like different shaped cars with bullet caps ........and I never get bored looking at women so what's the difference
bottom of page 53 in may issue of world cars, although i doubt they'll go under the guards (front especially)
or bullet caps on plain rims not commodore or the caps, keep the snowis's where they belong on toranas or with yor hose wrapped around them
J you must have been in yor mums womb if you thought of it when there weren't many around but then again you are in WA
mmm yeah i don't recommend it-its just one part of the car that won't really stand out from the rest of the pack. i reckon those 5 spoke (simmons?) wheels looked the goods anyway

No worries mate.
You seem to like the idea of more modern styles, so maybe some 16 or 17" wheels with low profile tyres-sort of the style that Andrew (Austmod) has on his FB-i reckon his wheels suit the car perfectly.

I think the black steelies look good. When I was 19 and knocking about steelies and lowering is all we did with the old holdens as it was the cheapest way!! wasnt sure that look really went out of fashion if thats how you could put it!!

We used to paint our standard rims black and put chrome wheel trims on & paint the nuts silver then call 'em "Australian Racing Wheels"
Scotty.
