Anyone out there able to help out with some info re:308 into FB? Picked up a good tidy unit that should keep me cruising till they take my liscence away due to old age. Any pointers appreciated. Live in Perth. utesncoupes@aol.com

G`day kelleigh54 , welcome to the forum - good to see another sandgroper on here :D There are quite a few V8 and V6 powered early Holdens on the road over here, where are you located exactly ?
I started with nothing and still have most of it left.

Gday Blacky, Im out in Huntingdale. Have an HR ute, about 13/14 years now. Was light blue, tidy up and resprayed LoneOranger about 3 years ago. Will be for sale when the FB is up and running.
Would like to speak to someone who has been through the paces installing a 308. Im an ol fart and not too good with these computers and key boards, so a phone number would be really good.
thanks bloke

kELLEIGH,

Greetings from sunny Albany, I have done 308 into a EK ( same dog different leg

What would you like to know? probably first question will it fit ,,you bet it will, thou the exhaust has to exit the inner guards( looks really good ). The Firewall on the left has to be recessed an inch and a bit otherwise the left hand head will fowl. This is a really simple job and if I can do it anyone can.

I basically have a ek ute with HZ statesman running gear which consists of the 308, turbo 400 and a shorted LSD large sals rear end. The brakes are disc all round.

I hope this helps , any other questions dont hesitate to ask.
