yep sort of, the first pic of the "outer leg" is the one in question but still doesnt answer my question if that part is bolted to the cross member at all ?? or is it mounted to the sill only but just sits in front of the cross member with out being mounted to it in any way

could some one please post some pics of there front cross member, my problem is i am about to replace the rusted out original piece on mine and i cant see ( cause rust has taken it away) if the outer arm from the front end gets bolted to the cross member or only through the side sill panel a picture ...

here in western vic there was a mid 70 fairlane 4 door that was topless & engineered with full rego, i think if someone can get the big bulky & heavy fairlane up to scratch then thumbs up to ya old mate, keep the pictures comming

well this should be the place to ask, i have a red 6 block it hasnt got the size on the block like a 202 186 ect ect insted it's got the letters HP, i have been told it's a 179 how can i tell, are these blocks any better than the others
