any advice on fixing the swage line where the 1/4 panel and the upper side panel meet for the ek van, an obvious problem with most vans

it did have silicone on the inside and a smear of bog on the out side to tidy it up
STOP YOUR WHINGING, BUILD A BRIDGE AND GET OVER IT.

If it was mine I would cut a section of the top part off and take it to a sheet metal shop and get them to press up a couple of metres of it - cut the top section off, repair the ute sides and glue the new top bit back on.
I started with nothing and still have most of it left.
