i know the usual garden variety spats are around but where do you get those extra long mothers. i've seen them on only a few cars, they look cool. 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)

Are you talking about 'Cruising Skirts'??..
If so our intrepid Paul Kelly (Smooth Customs) makes 'em. 8)

Not only do they look C 8) 8) L..but you can have wider wheels as well. :D

Sputz, just curious how that works?

Unless your car is sitting at standard height or near, how can ya run bigger wheels? The tubs/quarters haven't moved... :?

the only thing i can think off is....

in nsw your wheels cant go out past the guards, so if these spats stick out a bit, wheels that would normally stick out past the guard are covered buy the spats, hence making them legal...

please correct me if im wrong, but its the only way i can think of....

Sorry been a while since I looked at this thread..
If you run anything wider that standard width tyres with normal wheel spats they tend to scrape at the side walls. But with the Cruising Skirts they stick outside the wheel arch and therefore you can have a wider dish rim.

Ahhhh, i see :D Yeah, I was thinkin kinda along the same lines to you Aidan.

So, wider wheels in comparison to running normal spats. :wink:
