then did the outside of the car in acrylic matt black after a sand with wet n dry 400 hundred then 600.
next was the parcel shelf
made a template out of cardboard for the shape then went to bunnings and got some 6 mm mdf
mind u i end up redoing this in 3 mm as the 6 mm was too thick.

looks cool, you should've just clearcoated that dash, the shiney steel looked awesome. just remember your sunnies.

yeah mate looks the goods, hope he doesnt mind me using this name. Didnt realise to after had posted this.
some more photos ne wayz as had to go to work and ran out of time puttin them up...
oh and this was what was left of the old one
Have made up some speaker spacers for the 6x 9.s so that they elevate up a bit higher

got the glovebox made up, has been 38+ degrees
have been out in the shed bravin it tho. will put pics up soon of it completed.

cut out the spacers for the rear speakers in 16mm MDF.
then got stuck into the custom glove box.. used a couple of the ideas had seen on here thru few other guys but made a template from the original glove box and made up a space for the cd player to go nicely.
I kept the old glove box as well as the cardboard templates which i made up incase need to make one again down the track

made sure would have nuff room for the both n trial fitted it first, then continued on with the rest. Used liquid nails and air gun to stick together
then gave it a lick of black paint and made sure the cd fit in..
also made sure the speakers actually fit in too!
have now wired speakers and cd up just gotta run accesories, check to make sure it works real good then make door trims up
