gday blacky, yeah i remember the jag diff was all the rage when customiseing a car. id like to go this way but having a look under the stato the brakets look like alot of work to fit to the ek, but ill see when i strip it down. PS blacky i lost your mob number i called you awhile ago about the front bumper and front 1/4 windows im still keen on them if you still want to part with em
cheers. stubby

Blacky's mobile is the easiest to remember, you'll see when he gives it to you again

No wonder I couldn't get you on the phone Blacky, I put a three instead of an eight on the 69th number there
IRS Diff

Ive got a VP IRS in my FJ panelvan. It fitted in without any modification to the IRS cradle. It allows us to run ABS brakes on it.
Be careful with the IRS in commodores as mine is a VP one the VS although the same size cradle didnt fit, (wheels stuck out at least another inch)
I have attached a pic.
Here is a pic of what the IRS looks like outside the car
The reason we put it in a van was the chassis. A sedan may require a little more work.

Looking at the photo i would say the pinion is off centre so i'd imagine that the half shafts are equal length ?

Only the Commodores pre-VL had unequal length axles.
All the Borg Warner diffs use equal length.
