Stinky Jnr's Wagon Project

Post by stinky »

My 10yr old son has been hassling for a car for a while now, so as a joke I said he could have the wreck down the back  the joke's on me now as his eyes lit up and he accepted.
So as he requested here are a few pics, to keep costs down it will be a "rat" style for time being with the exception of the interior and wheels. I'll make sure all the running gear and structure are safe before we head out on any roads.
Look out for the parts wanted list in the parts wanted section, we will obviously be after gear that is not quite pristine.

That's awesome! 8) good to see tomorrow's drivers have good taste. Most kids today want a 180sx

Was that the wagon that was sitting out the front of someones house on Port Wakefield rd? I had a few people tell me about it thinking I might want to buy it. I had actually seen the car but never stopped to enquire about it.

So good to see it (or another one) being saved 8) Keep the progress pics coming. I guess this will be a slow project as you have 6 years to get it finished? what are the plans for driveline? grey?

All the best with it and if you need a number of someone that does good cheap trimming I will pass their number on to you
You won't be late with a 138!

Them young fellas are the ones that are going to inherit these "old cars " ( as they call 'em ) when us old farts fall of the perch so we gotta help 'em out and train 'em up.
I can't think what to write here so this will do.

Not sure, there was a guy on here a while ago trying to get rid of the shell as he had no room and didn't want to take it to a scrapper so I grabbed it.

Dunno about 6 years, my son is already driving my Triton around the back paddock (supervised with Dad on handbrake duty  ) we'll probably use a grey and crashbox to get it onto Historic Rego.

Stinky, don't be surprised if this turns into a full on project. My son Paul (EKK001) brought this home with visions of a Ratrod

and look what happened.
Cheers Woody.
