Post by Kingaz »

Quick question i've just started restoring a 62 EK Ute, it never came with an owners manual i was wondering if anyone knows if the sedan owners manual is the same as the ute or if they are different

G'day Kingaz,

The Owners Manual has specifications for all the models - Sedans, Station Sedans, Panel Vans and Utility eg pp34 how to fit a jack under Station Sedans and Utilities, pg 36 it lists all the various tyre pressures for models, pg 43 it lists different bulbs for different models. These are just some examples, there are other instances as well throughout the Manual.

My gut feeling is that the same Owners manual was used for all models.

Regards,
Stewart

Kingaz. There is usually at most times some original owners manuals for sale on evilbay (ebay) so if you are after one then probably look there.I heard someone mention one day recently that they are being reproduced as well (rare spares maybe ??).I think Stewart is right in that all models had same owners manuals and if a model differed in specs or whatever then a supplement section or a reference was made concerning that particular model.

Terry.
I can't think what to write here so this will do.
