Busy Weekend......

Post by dave68 »

Had a spare few hours so I decided to do a little work on the car with some help from Loui the welder......
We started with the bashed spare wheel door and threw it away and added some metal..

And then some Hi fill and a tidy up a bit ready for paint.

Well not done there I went around to the front and started to put the injection together with new headers and fire wall mods.

And the air flow meter and pod, yes Zimm parts   .

Next will be the hard part, the wiring. I'm scared.......

Guys just let me add that this the work of Loui, a person who has a passion for cars as his own personell collection will attribute to. I was just there for moral support while he did the panel work. He is one great fabricator and many thanks for Stewart for putting me onto him, and sharing  ......
Just one step close to the way I want my car to be.
I did the mechanics on the EFI via Sammys directions by the way.
Whatever....:(

Am suffering here, Dave...need more updated photos.
I've been very tempted to make a 'Zimm Performance" sticker for your fuel injection tube that runs over the engine!

Feel free that one is just for mock up. I have plans for another one as well as some more bling..... Zimmer proformance, is there such a thing
Now if you want to make a "timeless classic proframce" sticker I would wear that one with glee...
