grey onto hr front end

Post by lunatic leprechaun »

finally got my beast from nsw and my hr front is on its way also. was going to put my hotted up 192 out of my eh into, but took it for a drive and fell in love with how the grey engine was... for now anyway...
are there any changes to be done to engine mounts? or anything else to consider? cheers, jim 8)

try and speak with FB1960 (marty) he has recently done it by the sounds of his newest addition post... and he's in perth.

i would image you would just have to swap outrigger over since the grey didn't mount to the crossmember at all...(from memory)...

just a thought possibly steering & brakes (ie booster)

cheers

You need to change the front outrigger from the HR to the FB one and possibly need to drill new mounting holes for the front grey engine mount.
If you are going to use the red again it will pay to move those engine mounts as well. I had this done while the crossmember was out of the car.
