Louies hump????

Post by dave68 »

After borrowing Stewarts fabricator to put in a new hump for the old girl here is how it came out...

Image

Old crappy hump that was so bad it had to go......

Image

Cut out and area cleaned around to make a good weld, yes i know the 4 spd is leaky, that will be addressed soon

Image

Castlemain rod shop hump with shifter hole cut out...

Image

Tacked in and ready for the big weld.

Image

And the big weld, all welded up.

Image

The welder at work.( not the machine, the person ).

Image

A shot from the under side, good weld.

Image

Shifter hole cut to size and yes I left it for too long before covering the welds, RUST

Image

All done. Seam sealer and pressure pack matt black

And a few more for luck. I am happy, doesn't look like a dogs dinner anymore.

Another step in the journey of a " EK " moded ute, enjoy...
Whatever....:(

When you use the bulk uploader and upload 75 + snaps you need to do them small or it takes all night, now go and get some glasses
Whatever....:(
