Seat belt anchorage points
Seat belt anchorage points
Hi FB/EK family,
Just got my wagon back from panel beaters, all rust removed primed and nearly ready to paint. Seatbelt points in the B pillar and looks good, he didnt put them in the floor for the front ones, now, does anyone have measurements or photos as to where theirs are placed. I am in Qld and will have to get mod plates. I am having trouble finding the right person to speak to here in Hervey Bay, no engineers here....
I need to put these in before I can take it off the rotisery (cooker)....
Thanks

Here are the pics of mine. There suit Commodore buckets but should be good for any seat type. You can see the centre mounts (front and rear) and also the mount outboard mounts for front (just in front of the short brace from the sill) and the rear retractable belt lower mount (inside the rear guards at the bottom).
Hope it helps.

i don't think its so much a matter of where you put them, although closer to the edge of the floor is a stronger point however the main thing i had to abide by was a plate of 45x65mm i think it was and minimum of 3mm thick or something like that for the underside .... could change depending on the state but thats the main thing i think you need to look at.
if your getting a mod plate talk to the engineer whos going to be ticking it off to see what he requires.

You can hold the Ctrl key down, and scoll your mouse wheel (if you have a mouse with a wheel in it) and the page with zoom in or out depending which way you move the wheel....thropzed wrote:BB, Right click on the pic, save to my pics, open with windows photo gallery and zoom until pixilated.
