front door outer rubbers

Post by Miss EK »

I recently bought new outer door rubbers for my ek sedan and was wondering if anyone here had bought them from rare spares aswell and knows how to fit them. They have a wierd flange on 2 corners of the front ones and dont know which way round the actual rubber is supposed to go in. Please help :?

Miss EK, Rares rubbers are OK for what they are. The funny looking corners are for the bottom and run under your scuff plate with the slots facing out. To fit these properly you will have to remove the doors and you will have to cut your own corners into the rubber. Try to get the join on the upright of the B-pillar so the water doesn't collect there. I'll try to find the fitting diagram so you understand what i'm talking about.
