Post by Robbo »

I need a new outer sill panel for ek sedan. Has anyone used one from Rares or know of anywhere else to get one and how well they fit?

Any help would be great.

ive used a FC one, it seemed a bit twisted and had lots of overhang at the bottom on one end and stuff all at the other end.
first one just wasnt going to be usable, i took it back and looked at the other two in stock and picked the best one.

Cheers FCCOOL. I got a rares one today. Might be a week or two before I
find out how it fits.
Sam I'll let you know how it goes.

Hi Robbo and Sam,

my response on this is a bit late...another option is from...

Retro Rods and Restoration Owanyilla (Maryborough) QLD 4650 Phone: (07) 4129 7676 Mobile: 0405 484 232 http://www.retrorodsandrestorations.com.au/

I have used these on my EK wagon. Unlike the rares one there are no 'ends' on the sill.

You can see the result on my rebuild thread. The link is below.

regards
