Ek bits for sale. (and some others)

Post by jake08 »

G'day all, sadly my EK and I have parted ways, for a brief moment It looked as though the void might have been filled by a FB project to suit my new (much reduced) budget but was not to be. So with no early holden in my near future I am cleaning out my garage as quickly and painlessly as possible. Most of this stuff I had planned to actually use so I am not going to squirrel it away in my shed. (THAT has got HK parts in it that will have to go soon too) I will take offers because I want this stuff to go to keeping these cars on the road, (mine is going to the pad with a bb chev in it aparently) but as most of you can understand I have no time for bonepickers as I think the prices I have set are more then fair. Advertising on WA board because for the money I am asking I am not interested in posting. May consider posting manifolds though.
Thanks for looking, I will keep one eye on this forum as I reckon it's the best one on the net- the information base here is priceless as is the genuine interest members take in each others progress - my experience on this forum has been great and I look forward to utilising it when the next car come along.
Jake.

Ps there is some other "holden" stuff there too but someone might have a use for it.

Clockwise from top left
HT rims
2 x 14 x 5 with 195 radials and atlas flappers tyres good- rims shabbily painted
2 x 14 x 7 with 215 Maxxis retreads. Rims recently blasted and powdercoated.
$220 the set

Almost brand new spare from VY2 dunnydoor, I had 2 of these I think it was from a car i bought brand new, so it has either never been used or has been used once to do about 5km. Original Bridgestone EC $40

Pink! carpet to suit EK sedan, near new no wear except for seat and seatbelt holes. Shocking colour but whatever turns your wheels. Free

Hq? springs- come as extras with a V8 ute i bought years ago $10

VU SS ute (FE2) springs, only done about 10,000 km $25

Grey motor extractors $40

original interior mirror glass is crap, body ok $5

period? clip on mirror - STREAMLUX - Glass has a stain , arm is oxidising $15

Stock EK springs $25pr

original tail light lenses average- one has top hole broken but they arent cracked or badly faded and would suit a daily driver. $20 pr

Skull indicator lenses by Classic Plastic, never fitted- These did not fit my car easily, the top hole was 1- 2mm low, with only five mm of plastic outside i wasn't going to force them with the screws, I am confident with some gentle heat gun action they will fit. I think these cost me around $50.
$35 firm.

4 x stock HQ rims $25 ea or $85 the set.
4 x Hq hubcaps the worst is pictured, the other three are straight $15 ea

Grey motor bottom radiator hose GC not perished $10

I won this on ebay just arrived yesterday, haven't collect from Post office yet. Apparently the carbies are not jetted for dual set up and may require rebuild----"Twin carb set up for holden grey motor. Warnerford design manifold is in good condition with no warps or cracks. Blue anodised tag on top is in good condition for age, not badly faded and is clearly readable. Manifold has been lightly bead blasted (tag was masked off when this was done). Manifold has its original linkage but it has been messed about with, still saveable though. The carbs are not a matched pair and are not set up to run on this manifold. They are just a pair I had to go with this intake. They are both missing their idle mixture screws. One is missing the vacuum advance fitting and the other is missing the fast idle linkage to the choke. They would both need to be rebuilt and set up to run as twins."
$160

J, don't you dare use a part that was cut from another car.

Once you start down the dark side, you can never go back.

Being evil is one thing, but being a hypocrite

Trading in body parts, just encourages others to cut them up

well finister - a radiator is actually bolted in, I wouldnt dare cut up a savable wreck for parts.

I would simply swap radiators so someone else has to pay $300 to put a new core in
