NDRA - Needs YOUR Support

Just got a call this morning from the dude in QLD that runs Nostalgia Drags and NITRO. This guy is putting in the hard yards to keep this event alive in WA. Apart from all the Blah Blah discussed about entry prices etc, John is calling as many people as he can in W.A to try give us what we want.

Someone pointed out on another forum there are some alternative packages listed on the NDRA website now... Bloody good I reckon now...

Entry Fee for Nostalgia Drags including NDRA members Club joining fee for TWELVE MONTHS:
$185 (also includes Vehicle, Driver and ANDRA Day license if required)

Entry Fee for Nostalgia Drags including NDRA members Club joining fee for SIX MONTHS:
$135 (also includes Vehicle, Driver and ANDRA Day license if required)

Entry Fee to Nostalgia Drags for current NDRA Members:
$50 (Includes Vehicle, Driver and ANDRA Day License if required)

Entry Fee for all other racers:
$100 (Includes Vehicle, Driver and ANDRA Day License if required & 3 issues of Nitro Mag)

Extra Crew Passes:
$20

Now John is really cutting us W.A guys some slack, he only has about 45 W.A members out of the 800 currently in the NDRA. He has discounted it for us W.A people.

Lots of people arent happy about us only having one event per year whereas east coasters have two. Quit Motorplex needs to see that there is more support out there from us hot rodders/cruisers to continue the event. With low W.A membership numbers we will never get the two events per year where we can park our car away from drunk dickheads in commodores, take the beast for a run down the track and see what it can do. Away from the drunk 20 year olds who just want to see smoke, but around people who appreciate old cars and the work put into them.

John is trying to get W.A more involved, he aims to have at least one W.A car featured in Nitro Magazine per Issue. He covers street machines, drag cars, hot rods and kustoms, anything cool and nostalgia - membership includes free subscription to the magazine as well.

I dont want to sound like im just trying to sell you guys this... BUT i do want more then one nostalgia drag racing event to happen in perth a year, only event we can all enjoy without commonwhores is Big Al's poker run. Please at least consider a 6 month membership to the NDRA, the numbers will help in getting us that second event. So a few of u with the beefier ek's/fb's I hope will be signing up and representing us off this forum

Entry Fee for Motorvation, Camp the night and listen to the supra club. Whilst getting edged to do burnouts by 20 year olds who dont appreciate old cars (keep in mind these are very general statements and i enjoy motorvation personally): $130

Entry Fee for Nostalgia Drags, spend a day looking over old cars in the pits or taking yours down the track and giving it a squirt, enjoying the company of others who RESPECT nostalgic vehicles including NDRA members Club joining fee for SIX MONTHS and a 6 month subscription to Nitro Magazine: $135 (also includes Vehicle, Driver and ANDRA Day license if required)
