Pretty much that whole section where the rust is was made up of bog. with the windshield surround just pressed into the bog

Ahh well...... will be a bit of fun to fix

Have you got any history on it Mick?

Will be a big job, but will be worth it in the end i think.

No history on the car. a friend of mine saw it in a panel beaters front yard in Morwell, country VIC. could see a bit of the rust from the road, but, it was cheap enough so i bought it. now i've started stripping it i keep finding whole sections that are made of bog

All i know is it was owned by an old bloke for years and years, always parked out side, and at some stage he decided it needed a nice coat of brush applied house paint

Should keep me busy for a while anyway

Stripped a bit more off it including the rusty sub frame...... and found more rust under the rust lol

Basically will need sills, floors, rails and parts of the firewall to make it a solid base again. Its only metal so it shouldnt be too much of a hassel. No rush on this one.

Im getting tired of finding fly wire and bog though  seems to be the only repairs ever done on it
