sound / body deadener ? to use or not
sound / body deadener ? to use or not
just looking for some advice here .. i have recently had some floor pans replaced and i've been told to go over them with sound deadner and that it would'nt hurt to paint over other inside panels / floor sections etc with the stuff . my concern is and i don't know where i heard this is that it is not such a good idea to do this ? what do you guy's rekon ??
Thanks Blacky,
guess I'd be sued if I were to denigrate that blasted stuff any further than already stressed.....
I like it on roads - not on what travels on them....
If you MUST - and I still do NOT condone it, please, please prepare and seal the metal prior to applying any of it - you will effectively be sealing in any moisture which finds its way under the coating - and it will!
PM me if you want my sorry little story - all thirty something years of it.....
I have a lot of "new" metal in my old bus because of this metal cancer causing accelerant......
