Retro''s Dads new ek...(i told him he should update the fx)

Post by retro »

Thanks to our club president who forwarded an email this week, dad and i got wind of this ek and were happy to buy it as its a factory black car, like our fx's, fj's, fb and now ek.

We were surprised of its decent condition on inspection, but do note that paint work is not as good as it appears in pics. The vendor wanted someone to love it, and i think dad and i were willing to respect his wishes.

The car is grey powered, with out mods ( a new experience for me) , needs a gear box overhall, tiny rust work (nothing to hard), and and accelerator pedal.

Overall i reckon she will be dads new toy, and he may even join the club.

Hey does anyone know about the car, i have found it was at oatley west in the late seventies, quakers hill in the 2000's, and the previous owner aquired her two years ago, and lived in both woorongah and bankstown areas.

Also is the trim correct? MAybe a sunny question.

Just trying to get it out to a club meet this week, so we can show he off better.

Ratbox i dont know about red on this one, Once the next few months are over, the only thing red i own will be the overdraw notice on my bank account.

Having lived in Oatley West for a number of years, I thought I knew all the FB/EKs in the area... Dad tells me he saw this one a couple of times in the late 90's being driven by an elderly couple who rarely drove at much over 25 mph.

Nice score!

Lucky your dad was interested in it Retro, you must be running out of excuses to cover new cars...

Hey cool car I've never seen one the same as mine! 8) The numbers on the compliance plate match mine and your trim is the same. Enjoy.
