this may be a stupid question, but i've noticed in a lot of pics and on my car as well that a lot have one tail light lens a lot darker red than the other. is it just me or was this done from the factory for some reason.
or is it as simple as that one of the lenses are newer than the other?
i have noticed on mine that the two lenses have different part no's.

the part no's are what threw me too. the different part no's are:
P. No 7412292 2 on the lighter one
IMP No 7417213-122 on the darker one.
don't know if the number was changed from fb to ek or what the go is.
