Painted bumpers dont suit cars lucky enough to have chrome ones !
Painting the blinkers is way too much in my one eyed opinion....

Although pastel colours can cope with sprayed chrome ....
Easily distracted angle manipulator extrordinaire.

Gday FATYBOY
I like to look your after, silver painted trim on a dark coloured car.
Dont do it by halves though, if your gonna do it, do all the exterior trim the same.
Bumpers, grille, grille bar, headlight surrounds, tailight surrounds the lot.

They were my first thoughts on how I am going to do my van.
I still might.
I personally wouldn't do metallic paint though, just silver or glossy light grey.
But hey, you never know, it might look great.

What colour is your car?

We need to see this thing

Cheers
Jeff

This one was done ten years ago

I painted the blinker and bonnet pieces on this EK, when I was repairing accidient damage.
Made the stainless grill, and added the blinkers to the bar ends at the same time

Black hides their shape and makes them look heavy and just blend in with the surrounding panels. The photo does not show the details.

With a lighter colour it would not be as bad

Painted the tail lights and the fin extensions as well.

Silver or chrome bars are needed.
