Found a good alternative to fish oil-drill two 1/2" holes under scuff plates then plug drain holes with rags and fill sills with sump oil.Simply drain oil back into ice cream buckets (or cake tins if you are really low!) and voila-long term rust protection!

Hey karsten,

The other thing I have heard people using instead of fish oil is lanolin. Lanotec is the brand name. A quick google search found this...

http://www.lanotec.com.au/

The under side of my car would have to be the most rust free car around, after the $100 worth of oil that went in the engine and then blew out the breather cap and coated the entire under side of my car, on the way to and from the Yamba Nationals   , Trev 8)
