torana rims?

Post by fb cruisin »

Hi guys, I have aquired some13x 6 inch torana rims they look standard.
Does anyone know if this offset will fit my fb?
they appear to be offset alot more out than an fb rim. From the wheel mounting surface to the inside appears the same.

cheers Rob

Yes, they should fit quite well.

The 'stock' FE-EH rim is 13" x 4½". The back measurement is 3". The front measurement is 1½".

Your 6" Torana wheels are probably like most 6" early Holden rims, with a zero offset, that is, 3" front and back.

I've got an FE (shhh, don't tell anyone that I've broken in here!! ) with HR front & rear ends (additional 1" track) and LH discs. 13" x 6" rims with 185/70R13 tyres do not touch anywhere except teh road surface. With 205/60R13 tyres, I can just about get the rear wheel arches to scrape on the tyres if I try really hard.
