Well it all started out early summer 15 years ago, I was belting down Great northern hwy in the trusty hz prem wagon, when the serenity was shattered by 15 monkeys with hammers going for it under the bonnet! Quick a painful the old girl came to a grinding halt outside a produce store in Brigadoon. Out the front was the EK with 32,000 miles on the clock. Origional factory tires, hub caps and grey motor. Desperate for a working car and knowing the HZ was at least a week away from me being able to pull the motor down, I parted with $1100 and drove the plucky little rocket away as the tow truck took the z back home. First time I put my foot on the brakes the front drums had nearly forgotten what to do and fought against each other who was going towork harder... But it pulled up and i was alot more cautious in pulling up after that.
I drove her around for 3 years as she was from the day I got her. Put new tyres a service or two and had the radiator recored. The radiator didnt need doing as it was just a poor fitting cap that caused my over heating issues. But we all live and learn.
I will have some more pics of the motor and boot when i get home, and the other motor in the shed for it, that may go in for a fast weekend one day. but the old 202 red does a great job for now.
I have alot of story's on the build, a few pics, but I dont have a scanner to copy them just yet.
I will post some more later.
