hey guys


ineed help trying to figure out if i have all the parts need for the trim on the back/lower tailgate...

also does this cover need to be raised... as i'm thinking of replacing with stainless steel...

it still look like i'm missing a center piece in the middle at the top of the lower tail gate...

Matty,

at a glance you are missing a piece at the top of the lower tailgate which covers the striker rubbers, and perhaps a short side section and 2 corner pieces.

The corner pieces are the same as those used on the wagon back seat, though the surround sections (lengthwise, at least) I think are tailgate only. I'll check my parts bin and see if I can help out at all.

You may be able to make the cover plate out of flat stainless steel - try cutting one out of cardboard first to see if fit clears.

Bet you're looking forward to no longer "seeing red" over your wagon! :roll:

thanks for the speedy reply...

looking at this pic of stingrays tailgate, it looks like there is only supposed two be two corner bits, two bit along the top, two side (i only have one) & one long bit along the bottom...

the bit that i need the most is the bit that i have highlighted in red...
